Mercy Infusion Center is seeking a full-time (36 hours a week)
Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team.
OVERVIEW :
Assists the physician and office staff with selected duties to include clerical processing, patient preparation, scheduling, lab, x-ray and medical records.

Qualifications : Medical Assistant :
Education : High School Diploma or GED.
Certification : Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire .
Preferred Experience : 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a physician office. High desire experience in phlebotomy and prior authorizations.
Certified Medical Assistant :
Education : High School Diploma or GED.
Certification : Must have active Medical Assistant certification / registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA). Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Experience : 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a physician office. High desire experience in phlebotomy and prior authorizations.
