Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1 years of relevant experience or be a recent graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or MRI Technologist Program.
Responsibilities
The MRI Technologist will perform specialized MRI procedures on patients, resulting in diagnostic images for interpretation by a radiologist. They will also provide patient care essential to these procedures, applying principles of MR safety and adhering to our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 years of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelor degree program.
- Licensure/Certifications: ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT 1 Advanced registry (MRI) working in the area, BLS Basic Life Support.
- Skills:
- IV Insertion
- Technical skill in medical scanning, understanding of cross-sectional anatomy, and 3-D knowledge.
Working Conditions and Requirements
The MRI Technologist will be required to manipulate equipment, lift, move, and transport patients. They will need to continually stand or walk and adapt to stressful situations.
