We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our pediatric team at Mercy Pediatric Clinic. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic, providing exceptional patient care, and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for visits by completing vital signs, reviewing medical histories, and administering vaccinations.
- Assist with in-office testing, including drawing blood, conducting mental status exams, EKGs, and point-of-care testing.
- Administer vaccines and other injections within the scope of practice.
- Schedule follow-up appointments as needed per office policy.
- Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to ensure seamless delivery of care plans.
