About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant, EMT/Paramedic, or LPN to join our team at Mercy Clinic Primary Care.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for visits with providers by completing advanced standard room processes, including taking vital signs and reviewing patient history and allergies.
- Assist with in-office testing, including drawing blood and administering vaccines within scope of practice.
- Schedule follow-up appointments as needed.
- Collaborate with providers and clinical care teams to monitor and coordinate delivery of care plans.
Medical Assistant Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Certification: Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire
- Preferred Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office
Certified Medical Assistant Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Certification: Must have active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA) or EMT/Paramedic is also accepted. Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire
LPN Qualifications:
- Education: Diploma in Practical Nursing
- Licensure: Active LPN license
- Preferred Experience: 6 months of experience in a clinic setting, preferably in a Primary Care office
