As a Medical Assistant or LPN on our team, you'll work closely with our healthcare providers to deliver top-notch patient care and support the smooth operation of our clinic.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for visits: Complete Advanced Standard room process, including entering chief complaints, taking vital signs, reviewing patient history and allergies, and conducting thorough medication reconciliations.
- Assist with in-office testing: Draw blood, complete mental status exams, EKGs, walking oxygen studies, and point-of-care testing as needed.
- Administer vaccines and injections: Within scope of practice, administer vaccines and other injections to patients.
- Schedule follow-up appointments: Coordinate with providers and clinical care teams to schedule follow-up appointments as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant: High school diploma or GED required; BLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire. Preferred experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in primary care.
- Certified Medical Assistant: Active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA) or EMT/Paramedic accepted; BLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
- LPN Qualifications: Diploma in Practical Nursing; active LPN license required. Preferred experience: 6 months of experience in a clinic setting, preferably in primary care.
