Mercy Joplin Clinics - Primary Care
Seeking experienced RN or LPN
Clinic Schedule is Full time, M-F 8a-5p
Up to $2,500 hiring incentive available!
Overview:
The person hired for this role will virtually float to cover the EPIC inbaskets of Primary Care Clinics for our Mercy Joplin Clinic community. See remote eligibility details below.
The Primary Care Nurse completes triage and identifies abnormal patient symptoms, laboratory findings and notifies physician or provides treatment according to standard Primary Care developed protocols. Assists with EPIC in-basket management including, but not limited to incoming and outgoing telephonic or MyMercy messages, test results, medication refill requests, etc. Inputs orders as needed to aid provider and clinical care team.
REMOTE ELIGIBILITY:
- Must live in Joplin or surrounding areas: Carthage MO, Neosho MO, Galena KS, and Pittsburg KS.
- Must complete 12-weeks of on-site training prior to transitioning to work from home.
- Must also be available to come on-site for monthly or quarterly clinic meetings.
- Travel Reimbursement included.
LPN Qualifications:
Education: Diploma in Practical Nursing
Licensure: Active LPN license
Experience: 2-3 years of nursing experience
Preferred Experience: strongly prefer clinic or Primary Care experience
RN Qualifications:
Education: Associate of Applied Science in Registered Nursing, Graduation from registered nursing program, Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN), OR 4 years of commensurate experience in lieu of the bachelor’s degree
Licensure: Active RN license
Experience: 2-3 years of nursing experience
Preferred Experience: strongly prefer clinic or Primary Care experience
