The Job Description
The Clinical Specialist II performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
This includes maintaining information flow in the managed care procedure pre-certification process for all contracted managed care health plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with staff, doctors, nurses, patients, and managed care representatives.
