Overview
Perform radiographic procedures at a technical level, with minimal supervision. Assume responsibility for procedures performed.
Related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours.
- Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
- Experience: Acquired experience and possesses capability as determined adequate for the position.
- Certification/Registration: ARRT registry or registry eligible Achieved registry within 6 months of hire.
- Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Technical skill in radiologic procedures. Understanding of basic anatomy.
- Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements: Manipulate x-ray equipment; carry cassettes; select and manipulate exposure factors; evaluate radiographs; lift, move, and transport patients; stand and walk continually; recognize emergency situations; adapt to stressful situations; communicate effectively.
- Equipment Used: Radiographic equipment, radiographic processors, computers.
