Overview:

Perform radiographic procedures at a technical level, assuming responsibility for procedures performed, and related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program, high school graduate or equivalent.
• Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice, Radiologic Technologist License required in Arkansas.
• Experience: Has acquired experience and possesses capability as determined adequate for the position.
• Certification/Registration: ARRT registry or registry eligible within 6 months of hire or 1 year in Arkansas.
• Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Technical skill in radiologic procedures, understanding of basic anatomy.
• Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements: Manipulating x-ray equipment, carrying cassettes, selecting exposure factors, lifting patients, continual standing and walking, recognizing emergency situations.
• Equipment Used: Radiographic equipment, radiographic processors, computers.
