Radiologic Technologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Mercy Clinic Van Buren's Family Medicine department. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in radiography and excellent patient care skills.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret orders for requested exams, produce Diagnostic medical images, position and transfer patients
• Select proper technical factors on an individual patient basis, select and operate equipment as directed
• Develop film by using correct processing techniques, provide protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards
• Assist physicians in administering enhancing agents and medications, responsible for delegated areas of authority in the performance of routine and special imaging techniques

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program, high school graduate or equivalent
• Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice, Radiologic Technologist License required in Arkansas
• Certification: Current ARRT Registry in Compliance with Continuing Education or is registry eligible with a temporary license, maintain CPR certification
