Key Responsibilities:
- Perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care, according to physician's orders.
- Consult with physicians on the effectiveness of therapy.
- Act as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing staff on respiratory care.
- Perform duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Education: Graduate of a CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program.
- Licensure: Hold a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license and meet state licensure requirements.
- Certifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Critical care experience
