Overview:
Fast-paced Cardiopulmonary Rehab outpatient department that cares for cardiac and pulmonary patients. Our cardiac patient population consists of those who have had stents, MI’s, CABG, and valve repair/replacements. Our pulmonary population consists mainly of those who have COPD or COVID. Our department is staffed with RNs, Exercise Physiologist and Medical Assistant. This outpatient job requires no nights, weekends, call or holidays. It will be strictly for picking up for the staff as needed. We have an exceptional, very rewarding unit highlighted by coworkers with knowledge, dedication, teamwork, empathy and compassion.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
- Physical requirements/demands: Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift. Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- Certifications:
- CPR Required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- Other unit specific certifications as required or or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe.
