Job Overview
The Med/Tele floor at Mercy takes post-op general surgery patients following surgery, peritoneal dialysis patients, chest pain, cardiac arrhythmias, and general med-surg patients.
Patient acuity is varied, ranging from simple medication adjustments to complex, critically ill patients requiring intensive treatment and monitoring.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to patients on the Med/Tele floor, including assessing patients, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based practices.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, ensuring timely and effective communication with interdisciplinary teams.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.
- Monitor patients' condition, identifying potential complications or concerns, and taking prompt action to address them.
