Status : Full Time (40hrs / wk)
Must have ICU experience
Overview :
Delivers and coordinates the standardized new hire Nursing orientation program for licensed and unlicensed coworkers. Responsible for developing and updating the core program in alignment with evidenced based practice. Oversees, precepts and / mentors new onboarding educators.
Qualifications :
- BSN / Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Required or enrolled within 6 months of hire.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Critical Care.
- Preferred : 2 years teaching experience
- Licensure : a current RN license within the hiring state and / or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
- Physical requirements / demands : Position requires individuals to push, pull, and / or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift. Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
