4 – 10 hour days
Electrophysiology Laboratories provide diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures for both adult inpatients and outpatients. These services employ state of the art technologies and equipment to remain at the forefront of the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease. The Lab has two electrophysiology suites. Procedures include but are not limited to: Pacemaker/Defibrillator placement, Lead extractions, electrophysiology studies, 3-D mapping, Radio Frequency Ablations, Cardioversions, and Left Atrial Appendage Closures.
- This unit requires excellent critical thinking skills and quick decision-making skills.
- Due to the diverse nature this unit there are numerous educational opportunities for our coworkers.
- Mon – Fri Lab with late call only, no weekends
- Staffing based on case load
- 24/7 Leadership support
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
- Preferred Experience: 2 years Step-down, Cardiac Telemetry, Emergency Department or Intensive Care Unit nursing
- License: current RN license in our state
- Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
