Department/Position: Operating Room- RN- First Assistant
Status: Full Time- 36 hrs/wk

Overview:
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the over all effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and guiding principles.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Must have either a current RN Temporary Permit/RN license in the State of Missouri.
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years intraoperative experience with documentation of proficiency in perioperative nursing practice as a scrub and circulating nurse.
Certifications: CNOR and RN-First Assistant class required within one year of hire/transfer. BLS/ACLS required within first year.
Preferred Education: BSN Preferred
Experience: Three (3) or more years intraoperative experience
Preferred Certifications: CNOR, CRNFA
