What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN - Neuroscience, PRN position at Mercy?
PRN Schedule:
- 3 shifts in 6 weeks, 1 of those being a weekend shift
- 12hr shifts
- 0700-1930 (Days)
- 1900-0730 (Nights)
- Weekends considered Sat/Sun
- Holiday Requirement
- 1 predetermined major & minor rotation

- Our Neuroscience team provides compassionate care to a unique but rewarding patient population. Our team is highly skilled in providing healing care to patients with neurological conditions such as Stroke, Epilepsy, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Guillain-Barre Syndrome, and more
- Our team caringly helps patients and families navigate through challenging life events through education and expert care
- The Neuroscience unit is ideal for new graduate nurses interested in mastering new skills or experienced nurses that are enthusiastic to further specialize in this area
- Communication skills, interpersonal skills, patience, and a detail-oriented mind are all required to succeed in Neuroscience

Qualifications:
- Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school
- License: Meets the criteria to be eligible for licensure in state of Missouri or currently licensed in the state of Missouri
- Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
