Overview:
Registered Nurse in clinic provides professional nursing care to patients within the medical practice. Assists in the treatment of patients and completes related clinical paperwork. Performs related duties as assigned. Co-workers of Mercy are expected to comply with all federal, state, and local regulations in addition to the organizational policies and procedures. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values and Mercy Service Standards
Qualifications:
Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Licensure: Current valid state nursing license.
Certifications: CPR certification or obtain within 90 days of employment.
Other: Skill in assisting and performing a variety of medical treatments and procedures. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations. Must be able to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and policies. Must be able to communicate clearly and establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, staff and the public. Basic computer terminal and keyboard skills, or the ability to learn these skills, in order to access information and enter clinical data.
