We provide community-based prevention and family foster care services, group homes in the community for struggling children and families within the child welfare and juvenile justice systems, and short-term residential services for unaccompanied migrant children. To meet the needs of New York City's ever-changing foster care population. Our children have often experienced significant levels of trauma, poverty and violence. As they grow and mature, their individual needs change. Our assessments, health counseling, and selected treatments change to meet their new needs. Our children's physical and mental health as well as their strengths must be supported so they can reach their full potential.
POSITION SUMMARY :
Under the supervision of the Nursing Supervisor, the LPN will be responsible in coordinating and providing the best possible care to the clients.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- New York State, current CPR certification and completion of required courses in Child Abuse and Infection Control.Current Licensed Practical Nurse in New
- Minimum of 1 year of experience treating children / adolescents in the nursing field.
