Job Details
- We are seeking an experienced RN for our Skilled Nursing units.
- Provides quality patient care by performing treatments and procedures according to established protocols.
- Observes patients and reports adverse reactions to medication or treatment.
- Administers specified medications as allowed by policy and procedure, licensure, and State Practice Act.
- Responds in a safe and timely manner to patient requests and reports significant observations to the RN promptly.
- Demonstrates knowledge of the patient's plan of care and delivers care safely and within established standards and guidelines.
- Participates in planning for patient's care by providing input to the RN and under the direction of the RN, assists in implementing the patient care plan.
- Demonstrates knowledge of established hospital and nursing policies.
- Identifies emergency situations, initiates nursing measures as appropriate within scope of practice in emergency situations and seeks assistance and direction as necessary.
- Instructs patients in self-care according to the teaching plan and the directions of the RN.
- Documents this aspect of the patient's care.
