Advanced Practice Provider - Oncology - Janesville

Overview

This position provides general medical care and treatment to patients in a clinic or hospital setting under the direction of a collaborating Physician.

Mercyhealth, an award-winning fully integrated health care delivery organization based in southcentral Wisconsin and northern Illinois, is seeking a Board-Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our busy Oncology team in Janesville, WI. The ideal candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, with a passion for providing high quality personalized care to a variety of patients.

Opportunity:  

• PA/NP will support oncology practice and work with an experienced Oncology Physician
• Responsible for managing patients in the office setting
• 40 hour per week position, GREAT for work-life balance
• On call for 1 weekend every 5-6 weeks, depending on coverage needs. Call is Friday from 5pm until Monday at 8am. No holiday call.
• Enjoy a level of independence and collaboration within the support of a fast-growing health system
• EPIC electronic health record
• Responsible for managing patients in the office setting, may cover in patients when needed.

Qualifications:

• Accredited schooling through a Physician Assistant Degree Program or Nurse Practitioner Program
• Obtain CME experience as required for re-certification
• Hold valid state license and CME credits for license renewal
• Current DEA number
• ATLS certification
• Other certifications as required
