Overview

Mercyhealth, an award-winning fully integrated health care delivery organization based in southcentral Wisconsin and northern Illinois, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our General Cardiology team at Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center in Janesville, WI.

Opportunity:

  • Join an excellent team of two non-invasive cardiologists, two interventional cardiologists, two EP cardiologists, two cardiovascular surgeons and a vascular surgeon
  • Our team also includes seven APPs, a strong RN staff, and other support staff.
  • Fantastic working schedule of Monday – Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
  • No Holidays, No Call and No Weekends!
  • Coverage will include: hospital rounding and main clinic
  • Responsibilities to include: following up on patients, new consults and discharging weekly
  • Enjoy a high level of independence
  • Outstanding referral system from primary care

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work well independently and under pressure.
  • Strong communication/interpretive and analytical skills.
  • A high level of independent judgment and ability to handle empowerment for independent action.
  • Ability to pass the Wisconsin Caregiver Background Check and/or Illinois Health Care Worker's Background Check.

Education/Licensure:

  • Graduate of an accredited MSN program
  • Current WI RN license
  • Current WI APNP license
  • Current DEA number
  • ATLS certification
  • Other certifications as required
