Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse in the Psych department, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Pay rate:
- Total Non-taxable Pay (weekly): 1246
- Total Taxable Pay (weekly): 976
- Gross Total Pay (weekly): 2200
Responsibilities
- Perform airway management procedures as necessary
- Utilize knowledge of ICD-9 coding for accurate documentation
- Assist in the care of patients with internal medicine conditions
- Provide critical care interventions when needed
- Conduct phlebotomy procedures for diagnostic testing
- Perform mammography screenings as part of patient care
- Work in a Level I Trauma Center environment
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Administer medications following established protocols
- Assist in dialysis procedures as required
Qualifications
- Valid RN license with the ability to practice in the state
- Previous experience in medical/surgical nursing preferred
- Proficiency in airway management techniques
- Familiarity with ICD-9 coding system
- Knowledge of internal medicine practices and procedures
- Experience in critical care settings is a plus
- Ability to perform phlebotomy procedures accurately
- Familiarity with mammography screenings is beneficial
- Prior experience in a Level I Trauma Center is advantageous
- Strong skills in medical records management and documentation
- Competency in medication administration protocols
- Experience or training in dialysis procedures
