About the Position
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Telemetry team at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse on this unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and develop your skills in critical care and patient assessment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and perform assessments as needed.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' progress and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in accordance with hospital policies.
Requirements
- RN licensure in the state of IA
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
