Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will provide quality patient care in a Level I Trauma Center setting, focusing on medical and surgical patients of all ages.
Duties
- Conduct physical examinations and assessments to develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
- Perform discharge planning and educate patients and families on post-hospital care
- Provide care for patients with various ailments, including those requiring long-term care or hospice palliative medicine
- Specialize in infant care within the medical/surgical setting
Experience
- Previous experience working in a hospital or medical/surgical setting is preferred
- Proficiency in conducting physical examinations and providing nursing interventions
- Familiarity with discharge planning procedures and patient education
- Knowledge of medical conditions across the lifespan, including experience in caring for infants
- Experience with CT scans and Level I Trauma Center protocols
Pay: $2,179.00 - $2,250.00 per week
