Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a RN/LPN at Dunes Family Medicine.
As a RN/LPN at MercyOne, you will provided medical support to assigned patients by utilizing the nursing process and meeting the established standards within the clinic. Is accountable for assigned patients, demonstrates understanding of nursing and its issues and is an advocate for patient/families and nursing.
- Promotes and maintains a safe and calm environment for complex patients by ensuring appropriate supplies, equipment, and necessary services.
- Assists in making clinical decisions based on scientific principals, systematic approach and experience. Assists in identifying actual and potential risk to patients and/or families and assists in initiating appropriate action to minimize risk.
- Administers medications and treatments/procedures as directed, and as appropriate for the patient’s medical care, in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team.
- Utilizes internal and community resources in planning care and initiating referrals.
- Initiates appropriate patient/family education following assessment of learning and discharge needs.
- Documents nursing intervention and patient/family response accurately, legibly, and in compliance with clinic policies.

- Days, Mon- Fri
General Requirements:
- Must be an RN/LPN maintaining current state licensure.
- One to two years nursing experience preferred.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills, presentation skills, advanced analytical skills, be well organized and maintain a highly professional manner and appearance.
- Strong interpersonal, consultative and relationship building skills to initiate and develop productive collaborative partnership with all levels of leadership across the organization. Ability to effectively influence results, garner support and tactfully manage complex relationships within and across the organization. Extremely high level of diplomacy and tact are required. Ability to read the subtle nuances of situation and react/plan accordingly.
- Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
Education:
- LPN/RN degree from an accredited program.
