HOTEL SALES COORDINATOR
Associates are paid weekly!
SUMMARY
Responsible for providing on-property support to all members of the Area Sales Team (including the Area Director of Sales) to ensure hotel revenue and service goals are achieved. The Sales Coordinator will demonstrate service and exceptional rapport building in order to drive customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer’s experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Review guest arrivals and reservation activity to identify opportunities to create exceptional guest experiences and services.
- Collaborate and work in conjunction with corporate sales managers to identify and grow business opportunities.
- Recognize loyalty program (brand appropriate) members and corporate travelers via welcome notes and amenities.
- Coordinate group bookings from time of contract to time of departure including reservations, billing and special requests utilizing hotel specific systems.
- Provide reservation assistance to corporate accounts and Area Sales Staff as requested.
- Act as hotel liaison between operations staff and Area Sales Office to ensure effective communication and execution of group and corporate client requests.
- Communicate sales activities to Area Sales Office via daily use of sales software (SalesPro).
- Act as brand leader in regards to sales promotions, loyalty program benefits and special events.
- Solicit, confirm, and execute meeting room (no guestrooms) bookings.
- Attend weekly sales office meeting, monthly hotel sales meeting and hotel events as appropriate.
- Conduct site tours as needed.
- Maintain onsite hotel sales kits and marketing materials.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
- Constantly moving, providing tours of the hotel, showing meeting spaces and guest rooms on tile, carpet, stone, and cement.
- Operation of computers, fax/copy machines and phones.
- Frequent stationary position and occasional vehicular travel.
- Occasional ascending/descending stairs.
- Transport average weight frequently 10 lbs. Maximum weight occasionally 20 lbs.
- Pushing/pulling average weight frequently 10 lbs. Maximum weight occasionally 20 lbs.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Exposed to office and telephone noise.
- Frequent social situations involving groups of people.
- Exposed to kitchen environment, food, and alcohol.
- Exposed to computer screens, fluorescent lighting, and various weather conditions.
- Must adhere to Company safety standards and procedures.

Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel Front Desk experience or the equivalent of 1 year hospitality experience required, previous hotel Sales Coordinator experience preferred.
- Read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Valid driver license with acceptable driving record.
- Must possess or be able to obtain OLCC alcohol servers permit and Food Handlers card.
- Must pass criminal background check.
