What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Support Engineer - Major office move project in NYC position at Merge IT LLC?
Our enterprise-level client is seeking to add 15 IT Support Engineers to work onsite in New York City. Please see below for full details-
Job Notes :
- 6-month contract / a second phase and extensions are possible after the initial contract.
- Onsite in New York City in two Midtown locations.
- Background check takes three (3) weeks and includes a drug test, 20-year criminal background check, and a credit check.
- Pay Rate = $27-30 w2 per hour depending on level of experience.
- Prior experience performing large-scale IT office moves or providing in-person IT hardware / desktop support preferred.
NOTE : All team members must know how to wipe a hard drive clean.
Scope of Project :
Client is relocating former NYC headquarters from one Midtown location to another. This project involves the decommissioning of laptops / PCs and pack-up for relocation. At the second building, this team will be setting up the workstations. i.e. setting up hardware and peripherals.
Expected Schedule :
Monday - Wednesday : 9AM-6PM
Friday : 4PM-10PM
Saturday : 9AM - 6PM
Sunday : Opportunity may present itself for optional OT.
