Job Description :
We are seeking a dedicated Detox Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in monitoring and supporting patients through the physical process of detoxification from alcohol, drugs, and other substances. The Detox Technician will work closely with medical and clinical staff to ensure the safety and comfort of our patients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Monitor vital signs and symptoms of patients undergoing detoxification.
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities and ensuring patient safety.
- Record and report any significant changes in patient behavior or condition to medical staff.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor for adverse reactions.
- Assist in the coordination of patient treatment and participate in team meetings.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients throughout the detox process.
