We are currently hiring a dependable and reliable Forklift driver to work in the Warehouse on second (2nd) shift.
Scope of the position:
- To assist in the organized shipping and receiving of material and finished goods and accurate inventory by placing all material and finished goods in their proper location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Observe Safety procedures at all times.
- Place all finished goods and raw materials into correct location as identified by 5S map.
- Complete records, paperwork and labels accurately as required.
- Manually load and unload trucks and carry out packing as required.
- Strap and palletize boxes as required to meet shipping and production needs.
- Participate in monthly inventory and cycle counts as needed.
- Ensure warehouse and respective outside areas are neat, clean, and well stocked at all times.
- Carry out daily maintenance and safety checks of the forklifts, complete paperwork and report any defect to supervisor.
- As assigned by the supervisor or manager, must be licensed and certified to drive a forklift within Mergon Corporation.
