Summary:
*The role will begin Memorial Day Weekend*
The lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all individuals using the pool area. The lifeguard will also assist in maintaining the cleanliness and general upkeep of the pool area.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain constant surveillance of pool area and act immediately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency.
- Enforce all pool rules and regulations, including no diving in shallow areas, no running, and no glass containers.
- Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
- Complete all necessary records and reports as required, including incident reports and maintenance logs.
- Perform routine maintenance of pool area, including cleaning restrooms, showers, and deck areas.
- Ensure that all pool equipment is in good working condition, report any equipment malfunctions to management.
- Attend all staff meetings and training sessions as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Current Lifeguard Certification
- Current First Aid/CPR Certification
- Ability to perform all lifeguard skills and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
