Minimum Qualifications:
- Degree in a relevant field
- 5 years of experience in Outside Plant installation, testing, and maintenance
- Experience in developing and delivering training materials
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the Educational Services industry
- Certifications in relevant areas such as Fiber Optic Test or Cable Splicing
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality training sessions on Outside Plant installation, testing, and maintenance
- Develop and maintain training materials and curriculum
- Provide guidance and mentorship to students
- Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to ensure training materials are current
Skills:
As an Instructor - Outside Plant, you will utilize your expertise in Fiber Installation, Dark Fiber, Fiber Optic Test, Fiber Optic Cabling, and Fiber Optic Networks on a daily basis. You will also need to have a strong understanding of the applicable risk management environment and be able to effectively communicate and mentor students. Your ability to develop and maintain training materials and stay up-to-date with industry advancements will be crucial to the success of our students.
