Territory Management sales position with assigned territory in South Florida covering from Ft. Pierce, diagonally across to Port Charlotte, south to the Keys. Puerto Rico is also included.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Working in conjunction with the National Sales Manager located in Tampa, provides sales and customer service support to Adhesives Technology’s Building Supply and Industrial Distribution accounts, end-user contractors, and the design community by performing the following duties:

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required
College degree with 3-4 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and infrastructure/sales field experience, preferred.
Language Skills
Ability to read and write English fluently and communicate effectively via phone or e-mail. An articulate, confident speaking voice is a must, with the ability to effectively present information to all business levels, from laborers to top management.
Spanish bilingual a strong plus.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions using lateral thought. Ability to interpret and respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers and resolve issues based on guidelines previously given by management.
Job Performance Standards
To support the territory/region assigned, candidates should live centrally in the specified territory, preferably in Florida.

Working in conjunction with the National Sales Manager located in Tampa, provides sales and customer service support to Adhesives Technology’s Building Supply and Industrial Distribution accounts, end-user contractors, and the design community by performing the following duties:

- Develop and maintain a call cycle/time and territory management system to supportdistribution partners with key contacts in all client locations. Develop rapport with thosedistribution accounts by building a relationship based on trust and added value.
- Develop relationships with, train, strategize and support Rep Agency sales team whereapplicable.
- Work with contractors to create /drive product demand from contractors using a pull-through strategy for distribution accounts.
- Present products and services to Structural/Civil engineers and Architects to generatespecifications of Adhesives Technology high-performance products, providing technicalsupport and offering continuing education seminars.
- Provide technical support to contractors, distribution, and Manufacturer’s Rep Agencysales staff who will serve as your sales team in the broad market.
- Conduct hands-on product training with distribution staff, local engineers and contractors.Must be comfortable with power tools and be willing to get dirty as part of daily routine tocreate product demand.
- Daily prospecting for new distribution and contractor business. Uses lists of prospectivecustomers as sales leads, information from reports, trade show leads, business directories,CMD Insight, and other sources to open new accounts.
- Continually strives to improve margins by optimizing product and customer mix.
- Works as a team in conjunction with sales counterparts in other regions, as well as theInside Sales Team and National Sales Manager.
- Professionally manage customer complaints and issues, delivering a high level of servicefor customers.
- Maintain CRM detailing daily efforts.
Qualifications

- Must be a positive, self-starter, with a hunters’ mentality.
- Ability to develop and maintain an effective time and territory management system
- Ability to work effectively, independently without constant supervision while maintaining highly productive results
- Must have experience developing and maintaining relationships with sales leads
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ideal candidate will possess at least two of the following three required competencies:
- Working knowledge/understanding of concrete as a building material
- Understanding of construction adhesives/chemicals such as two-part epoxies, acrylics, urethanes, polyurea, densifiers etc.
- Experience with building supply distribution channels in the defined territory.
