This role is responsible for day-to-day accounting, reconciling bank accounts, intercompany transactions, month-end closing. If you are looking to join a loyal, wonderful team and you have a positive, team-oriented, can-do attitude then we are looking for you!
Responsibilities
- Month end journals and account reconciliations.
- Manage intercompany transactions and ensure entities stay in balance.
- Maintain fixed assets registry and GLs.
- Keep record of Purchase Price Variance (PPV) entries.
- Work with Accounts Payable to make necessary accruals.
- Assist with standard cost updates, new product costing.
- Act as the back up to accounts receivable and payable as needed.
- Improve business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
- Take part in annual inventory count and conduct periodical cycle count audit.
- Support year end external audit.
- Multiple sales tax filings.
- Prepare budgeting data as required annually. Work closely with AP/AR
- Other Duties as assigned.
- Minimum five plus years of relevant work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
- Three or more years in a manufacturing environment is required.
- Cost accounting experience a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- High integrity and work ethics.
- MS Office experience with advanced excel skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and demonstrated ability to interact and interface with production personnel as well as management.
