A leading commercial construction company in Fargo, ND, is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team. We specialize in ground-up commercial construction, including new builds, remodels, expansions, and tenant fit-outs. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven leader to oversee projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
?? On-Site Supervision & Coordination
Manage and oversee all aspects of daily construction activities.
Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring work aligns with project plans and specifications.
Identify and resolve on-site issues, ensuring projects stay on track.
Maintain a safe work environment, enforcing OSHA and company safety standards.
?? Scheduling & Progress Management
Assist in developing and executing project schedules.
Coordinate with subcontractors and project managers to maintain deadlines.
Update and maintain construction timelines, addressing any schedule impacts.
Develop look-ahead schedules and ensure subcontractor performance.
?? Project Documentation & Compliance
Provide and maintain daily reports, logs, and key activity records.
Oversee material deliveries and ensure quality control.
Maintain as-built working drawings, revision logs, and subcontractor communication.
Manage project close-outs, including punch lists and utility transfers.
?? Client & Stakeholder Communication
Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients, field personnel, and local officials.
Meet with inspectors to coordinate permits, certificates of occupancy, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
? Experience: 5 years of proven commercial construction experience.
? Leadership & Communication: Strong ability to manage teams, problem-solve, and ensure project efficiency.
? Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction practices, scheduling, and site management.
? Safety & Compliance: Familiarity with OSHA regulations, first aid, and CPR.
? Additional Requirements: Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel as needed.
