Position Summary
The Accounting Manager role is vital to the growth and long-term success of our business. Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and Develop Accounts Receivable Team: Manage a team of 3 collections specialists, driving best-in-class customer service, ensuring timely collection of receivables, and promoting a collaborative team culture that focuses on continuous improvement and achieving targets;
- Enhance Accounts Receivable Processes: Oversee the accounts receivable function, ensuring efficient invoicing, cash application, and collections. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), and improve the customer experience while optimizing cash flow;
- Resolve Complex Issues: Support the team in resolving customer account disputes, discrepancies, and billing inquiries, ensuring quick and effective resolution while maintaining strong client relationships;
- Collaborative Process Improvement: Work cross-functionally with other departments such as AP, finance, and operations to identify areas for process improvement in accounting and treasury functions, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives;
- Treasury Support: Assist with daily cash reconciliations, maintaining accurate cash forecasts, and supporting liquidity management. Ensure proper tracking of incoming and outgoing funds and provide data to support decision-making for cash management strategies;
- Continuous Development: Collaborate with leadership to drive process improvement initiatives, and provide insights to enhance operational efficiency. Participate in professional development opportunities to broaden your understanding of accounting and treasury operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively engage with team members, senior management, and cross-functional departments;
- Demonstrated knowledge of business operations and familiarity with ERP and financial management systems (Epicor or MS Dynamics preferred);
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data and make recommendations for process improvements;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting;
- 3 years of operational accounting experience with a strong preference for accounts receivable or collections experience.
Education / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.

Salary : $100,000 - $140,000
