Meridian HealthCare is looking to hire a full-time Counselor/Social Worker to work in our outpatient program in Youngstown, OH. If you are passionate about providing excellent patient care, please read on!
WORK SCHEDULE FOR A COUNSELOR/SOCIAL WORKER
This position typically work normal business hours, 8:30am - 4:30pm.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A COUNSELOR/SOCIAL WORKER
You will provide individual counseling and patient access to individualized treatment to ensure patient rights are upheld, facilitate patient's active participation in treatment planning whenever possible, and to inform patient of alternative treatment services and procedures that are available. In addition, you will participate in weekly clinical supervision meetings and present client cases and seek additional professional consultation as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR COUNSELOR/SOCIAL WORKER
- Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field preferred (LPC, LSW, or LICDC required)
- Competency or training in chemical dependency treatment
