Addiction Recovery Support Staff

Meridian is looking for dependable individuals to complete our Milieu Tech staff supporting our residential clients as they begin the recovery process.

This position provides excellent experience for someone interested in a career in behavioral health.

We encourage those with a minimum of 2 years' experience in long term recovery to apply!

The following shifts are available:

ALL SCHEDULES WILL INCLUDE AT LEAST ONE WEEKEND DAY.

1st shift: 6:00am-2:30pm; $12.50/hour***
2nd shift: 2:00pm-10:30pm: $12.50/hour***
3rd shift: 10:00pm-6:30am: $13/hour***

***Essential staff working on site are currently being paid an extra $3.40 per hour in addition to the above rate

Required Duties:

1.Provide a safe and secure treatment environment for all residential clients;

2.Oversee residential clients when they are not in treatment programming;

3.Report any medical, unusual or behavioral issues through e-mail documentation;

4.Monitor media presentations;

5.Provide assistance in client crisis matters;

6.Monitor support service activities;

7.Conduct searches of clients, property, facility if warranted, according to procedure;

8.Conduct searches, breathalyzer tests (pbt), urinalysis tests, if warranted, according to procedure;

9.Oversee client/family visitations;

10.Provide a “welcoming” experience and exceptional customer service;

11.Other duties, as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION/TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

1. High school diploma, GED equivalent, or related experience.

2. Current State of Michigan driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

3. Have no outstanding warrants, tickets, fines nor arrests for moving violations.

4. Be at least eighteen (18) years of age.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Must be able to pass drug screen for illegal substances and background check
