Polyurethane Production & Manufacturing Associate (Trimming and Demolding)
Position Summary: Meridian Laboratory is seeking a detail-oriented and skillful Production & Manufacturing Associate to help in the manufacturing and production of precision polyurethane products. Methodical and careful attention to detail is required as quality is the most important factor at hand! We have opportunities for growth and advancement, as well.
Location: Multiple buildings in the Middleton Business Park - Middleton, WI
Wage: Competitive – Experience Driven
Work Hours: Typically 12PM-4:30PM, Monday through Friday in a clean, organized, and respectful manufacturing environment. We have flexible hour options available, just ask!
Job Responsibilities:
- Follow safety procedures within the production environment.
- Detailed trimming of small parts with hand tools.
- Careful inspection of products to ensure conformance both visually and through measurement, while maintaining perfect aesthetics.
- Proficiency with hand tools and light duty equipment (Dremel, bandsaw, drill).
- Follow directions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Complete preventative maintenance duties weekly (PM’s)
- Remove molds from the ovens and put on racks to cool. Removing product from molds in a gentle manner to prevent damage. Wiping molds to remove excess release and foreign materials. Spraying molds with release in an even manner to prevent excess buildup. Loading cores into molds carefully to prevent contamination and/or causing damage to the mold.
- Work with the production team to ensure delivery dates are met.

- Above average fine motor skills and strong attention to details.
- Proficiency with hand tools and light duty equipment (Dremel, bandsaw, drill).
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
Preferred Requirements:
- Prior experience in manufacturing, assembly, or maintenance.
- Proficiency with hand tools and light duty equipment (Dremel, bandsaw, drill, etc.).
- Familiarity with standard materials used in machinery building, such as metals, plastics, etc.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, machine shop practices, tolerances, and other production processes.
- Ability to measure and analyze tolerance-critical components.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
