Position Overview: The Sales Representative will be responsible for leading and developing new business opportunities and building lasting relationships with clients in the moving and storage sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, preferably within the moving and storage industry, and be passionate about customer satisfaction and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and revenue growth.
- Identify new business opportunities and target markets to expand the customer base.
- Attend networking events, including occasionally after hours/on weekends.
- Manage the sales pipeline, track progress, and close sales deals effectively.
- Monitor competitors and market trends to stay ahead of industry changes and customer needs.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth transitions for customers from sales to service delivery.
- Address and resolve any customer concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Track and analyze sales performance, providing regular reports to senior management.
- Use data and insights to adjust strategies and improve performance.
- Set sales goals and forecasts, monitoring progress and adjusting tactics as needed.
- Collaboration & Coordination:
- Collaborate with operations teams to align promotional campaigns and customer acquisition strategies.
- Work closely with the customer service team to ensure customers receive high-quality, consistent service.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a sales leadership role, preferably within the moving and storage industry or a related field.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze market data, set sales goals, and execute effective sales strategies.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage client expectations and resolve issues effectively.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the moving and storage industry or logistics.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
