Overview:
We are looking to grow our team of high-quality Chemotherapy Infusion Registered Nurses. The ideal candidate should preferably have experience in working with oncology patients. Chemotherapy infusion experience is preferred, but we will train if needed.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Administer chemotherapy and other infusions to patients while monitoring their vital signs and overall condition.
- Perform IV insertions and catheterizations as required, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings in EHR systems.
- Collaborate with the oncology team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding treatment protocols and side effects.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control guidelines.
- Be compassionate, kind and empathetic to patients and their families
- Current TB and Hepatitis B vaccination record
Education: Associated Degree in Nursing
License, Certification and/or registration:
Current nursing Mississippi or multi-state Licensure. BCLS required. At least one year of nursing experience in a clinic setting and/or oncology setting is preferred.
