Scheduling Specialist

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO

· Schedule patient appointments for consultations, medical procedures, follow-up visits and new patients

· Answer phones and provide excellent customer service

· Demonstrate positive communication with patients and co-workers

· Scan documents into patient’s charts

· Complete referrals from other medical facilities

· Communicate with patients and staff as needed

· Other appropriate duties may be assigned that are not listed in the description

REQUIREMENTS

· High school diploma or G.E.D.

· Time management skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize work

· Excellent written, verbal communication and computer skills

· This position requires frequent, prolonged periods of sitting

· Previous medical office administration or hospital experience preferred, but not required

· Must be able to maintain effective working relationship with patients, employees, providers and other medical facilities

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

SCHEDULE AND BENEFITS

· Full-time position

· Monday through Friday, no nights or weekends
