Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pool Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and welcoming environment for all guests at our pool facility. This position requires excellent guest service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage various tasks efficiently while maintaining a high standard of hospitality.
Duties
- Promotes and maintains a safe, clean, and organized pool environment
- Ensures safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents or casualties, makes rescues and administers first aid when necessary. Calls for emergency medical assistance as needed.
- Able to perform lifeguard duties
- Always maintains attentive position in pool area by walking, sitting and observing activity at poolside and in the pools.
- Takes chlorine and pH readings and records results accurately. Monitors water quality.
- Inspects pool areas before and after each shift for possible maintenance, cleanliness or damage problems, and reports problems to the management as appropriate.
- Maintains and stores pool equipment.
- Works as a cashier in the snack shack during the outdoor summer months.
- Teaches swim lessons in accordance with district lesson curriculum.
Requirements
- Must be an excellent swimmer; capable of performing lifeguard rescues in pool setting
- Skilled in first aid and CPR procedures and emergency response protocols
- Ability to actively supervise, engage, and interact with children to ensure a safe, structured, and enriching environment.
- Ability to problem-solve effectively.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Pay: $14.81 - $16.00 per hour
