Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitors all areas of the Recreation Center, excluding aquatics, to ensure residents and their guests have a positive experience.
- Completes daily checklists to ensure the recreation center is clean and maintained properly.
- Assists residents with proper use of fitness equipment (no fitness training).
- Enforces policies related to behaviors in the recreation center.
- Assists residents and their guests with any questions or concerns they may have.
- Assists in setting up facilities for programs and services.
- Other duties as assigned
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Skilled in first aid and CPR procedures and emergency response protocols
- Ability to actively engage and interact with customers to ensure a safe, structured, and enriching environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also taking initiative when needed.
- Ability to problem-solve effectively.
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively to different situations, including emergency or individual needs.
- Ability to speak effectively with coworkers, children, parents, and customers
- Ability to read and write effectively
- Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Certificates and Licenses:
- First Aid & CPR required within 90 days of hire.

- Occasional outdoor weather conditions
- Moderate noise level
Physical Demands
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
- Ability to regularly sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, walk on even and uneven surfaces, climb stairs
