What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lab Technician II position at Meridian Technologies?
General Requirements:
* Under close supervision, completes tasks as directed. Adheres to set objectives and standards.
* Ordering raw materials, making batches and keeping track of experiments in lab notebook.
* Performs and tracks stability on all formulas made. Needs to be detailed-oriented.
* Open communication to bring to the attention of the chemists/manager of any stability issues.
* Interface with support groups for testing requests via IT system.
* BS, Chemistry or related field required
*4-6 Years of Experience
- Must be able to work in a team environment with good communication skills
- Ability to operate and maintain assigned laboratory equipment
- Ability to work under time pressure
- Must have initiative and be self-motivated
- Ability to change plans on short notice and work with a flexible schedule
- Ability to lift 50lbs with the help from coworkers
