Clinical Laboratory Technician I or II
Meridian Valley Laboratory (MVL), a clinical testing laboratory, is seeking an individual to work in our Allergy Department. Required for this position is an MLT degree (preferred) with certification; or alternately, an undergraduate degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry or related field.
Experience with immunoassays and ELISA preferred. This position requires a service-committed individual, who is detail oriented, dependable, organized, and exercises sound judgment. Candidates must be able to work alone or in a team, and have good communication skills. Experience with Excel, Word, and Access is expected.
This is a full-time position (8 hours paid, plus 0.5 hour unpaid lunch break), day shift. The normal hours of operation are from 7:30am to 5:30pm, Monday-Friday, with some flexibility on clock-in/-out times once you have successfully completed training and have coordinated your work schedule with the Lab Manager and your coworkers. Occasional overtime, evening or weekend work may be allowed or required, as allowed by management.
