CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
We are looking for a bright shining face who will help people as they walk through the door of the
Hospital, no matter the emotional state they are in.
You are a detailed orientated person, who loves procedures as well as accurate patient records, accounting, numbers and charges.
You will communicate, support, and advocate for all pets so that they get appointments when needed, and assisting our staff in scheduling, charging out, and communicating with clients.
Clear empathetic communication is important to you, clients and fellow employees feel confident when they receive instructions or education from you.
Veterinary hospital experience preferred.
Lastly, you will fit in with our wonderful team and uphold our values.
ABOUT US:
Established in 1949, we are the longest standing veterinary Hospital in Meridian, we began with dairy farms in the area. We have since transitioned from the rural lifestyle to urban life with companion animals. We are a busy small animal Hospital that is run by a team of 21 members that includes four doctors, two full time and two part time. Our doctors come with a wealth of knowledge and experience each having at least 25 years of experience. We provide comprehensive medical care to our patients, everything from routine vaccinations to orthopedic surgery, dental care and soft tissue surgery. We are open Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 6:00pm, and operate a vaccination clinic on the third Saturday of the month. We are closed on Sundays and major holidays.

JOB DUTIES:
Client Service Representatives play a vital role in the high-quality care of our patients and clients. You are the bridge between clients and technical staff. You help people get in the door so we can support and help them with their pets. You are the voice and the face of the Hospital. For this position you will use your knowledge and skills in various ways including but not limited to:
- Answering phones quickly and clearly to effectively deal with the client’s inquiry
- Playing schedule Tetris efficiently to ensure pets are being seen quickly and reminders are accurately inputted so clients are reminded of important visits
- You are the welcoming committee and will make sure our clients feel like guests and are welcomed warmly and can relax about their visit.
- Assisting doctors and technicians for forward scheduling follow ups and rechecks after appointments
- Collecting accurate payment at the end of visits so owners are being charged correctly
- Processing and checking medical records
- Communicating with clients via phone, text, email, and mail
- Accurately handle and work with money in different forms such as credit card, debit card, cash, check, and care credit
- Overall assisting and helping where needed
