We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Optician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in optical services, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service. As an Optician, you will play a crucial role in assisting patients with their eyewear needs, ensuring they receive the best possible solutions tailored to their vision requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting eyewear that meets their style and prescription needs.
• Perform fittings and adjustments of eyeglasses.
• Maintain knowledge of optical products, including lenses, frames, and contact lenses.
• Handle laboratory tasks as needed, including lens cutting and frame assembly.
• Manage patient records using electronic health record systems.
• Vision billing and coding for insurance purposes.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in optical services is preferred.
• Strong understanding of retail math principles.
• Familiarity with optical systems and laboratory processes is a plus.
• Experience in senior care or working with diverse patient populations is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining individual responsibilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
