The ideal candidate will have a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License and a proven track record of safe and efficient driving. As a Class A Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in our waste management operations, ensuring the timely and responsible collection of residential and commercial waste.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a Class A CDL-equipped garbage truck in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle's mechanical fitness.
- Safely navigate assigned routes, adhering to established schedules for garbage collection.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers, addressing inquiries and providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including mileage, fuel consumption, and waste collected.
- Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate personnel.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry best practices.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with air brake endorsement.
