Meridian in Loves Park, IL, is a regional leader supporting branding solutions to both local, national and global accounts. We sell business products that every company from small to large utilizes daily including promotional products, commercial printing, business documents, direct mail services and E-store solutions.
We are hiring for a Bindery Operator to join our team in Loves Park, IL. Starting pay is based on experience. Experience on Bindery machinery is not required, but some experience in a manufacturing/production environment operating machinery is preferred.
Below are some of the job functions of this role:
- Perform bindery operations such as folding, cutting, binding, stitching, trimming, affixing, and packing
- Operate all bindery equipment, including folders, cutters, stitchers, affixers, tabbers, and straight knives.
- Wraps product in plastic, using shrink-wrapping machine, packs products in boxes, and tapes lids of boxes shut
- Review completed jobs to verify conformance with the job ticket and plant standards for quality and consistency
- Performs repairs and preventive maintenance on bindery machines, including cleaning, adjusting and oiling.
Compensation:
